For as long as there has been a Christ Church in the parish of St Lawrence, there has been a Christ Church Choir. It received acclaim in the consecration year of 1845 and has become internationally recognised, over the years, as one of the finest Choirs in Australia. From its very beginning names associated with the choir have appeared in the annals of the history and development of music in Australia.
