The Architects
Christ Church as we see it today can be attributed to the work of three architects: Henry Robertson who was responsible for the four walls of the nave, 1839-1841/2; Edmund Blacket who was responsible for the tower and spire, the window mouldings, and much of the interior arrangement and fittings, 1844-1882; John Burcham Clamp who was responsible for the St Laurence Chapel and window, the font cover and screen below the organ, c 1900- c 1920.
